Sarah Beth's Story

I married Kermit Richards, Jr. July 2, 1958. He was the love of my life & we knew that we wanted to be together! We had many adventures due to Kermit being in the Army, lived in VA, Germany, VA again then after Army lived in McA. We had 3 children Gayle, Dodie and Butch(KermitIII)Kermit got his degree, a job in Houston beckoned us & away we went in 1974. We had lots of fun and many new adventures, they came to an end when Kermit was taken from us by the "big C" in January 1992. I did re-marry in Sept. of 1998 and lost James in April 20...Expand for more
01, he dropped dead while hiking. He and I made our home in Lago Vista, TX, I moved back to the Houston area in July 2008. I am living with my daughter Dodie and her hubby Jimmy. I have 5 grandchildren ages 18 to 30. I have 4 great grands ages 10 mos. to 7 years old and they are wonderful little people and bring so much love and joy into my life! I have worked as a day care provider, ward clerk/nurses aid, draftsman, real estate office manager, Realtor, and an escrow secretary for a Title Ins. company, I retired in Oct. 2004 and I love it!

I just wanted to take a minute to pay my respects to my faithful companion of the last 15 years, my cat Webster. He will be missed greatly! He died quietly during the night.
